Pledging Allegiance to...Obama?

This is officially getting really, really creepy.

First we have Obama’s planned indoctrination lesson for all public school children — a nationwide video to all schools next Tuesday.  The lesson plans that the White House has distributed call for the kids to read books about the president and Barack Obama, and to think about how they can help the president meet his challenges.

Now, we also have the “I pledge” video that has popped up (actually, it looks like it’s been out for awhile now but I just noticed it).  The video shows a host of liberal characters that are making various pledges.  Some of them are innocent enough, but some really cross the line.  What’s with “I pledge to help Barack Obama”?  Why did that have to be included?  What is the point that they’re trying to make?

Why are we constantly being bombarded with messages that seem to indicate that allegiance to Obama is necessary?  Not the U.S. government.  Not the other citizens of this country.  Not to the constitution.  But to Barack Obama?  Why do school children have to read books about the president and Barack Obama?  Why do they have to think of ways to help Barack Obama?  Why the fixation on Barack?

Perhaps this is still part of Barack’s master plan — to indoctrinate our children so they can grow up to become good little storm troopers.  We need to remember history.  Remember what happened in WWII Germany.  Their leader was elected in the midst of critical economic conditions — in part because he was a charismatic leader that promised to lead them to prosperity.  Isn’t that the same lession plan that we’re receiving right now?

It CAN happen here — we would like to think that it never could — but anything is possible if there are enough sheep that will follow this socialist shephard.

That’s change — I don’t want to believe it — but it may be coming.
